Card Concept Challenge #38
Whilst I have seen lots of challenges on the multitude of craft blogs out there, I have never submitted one before. The latest post from the The Card Concept really caught my eye and motivated me to get out my stamps and ink and have a go. Even if you don't feel confident enough to enter one of these challenges, they are great to get those creative juices flowing - hop and over and take a look!
This one is a color challenge - Yellow, White & Grey - which are colors I would never have thought to use together in a craft project. This is what I came up with following I guess the 'Clean and Layered' style ...
Supplies used (all Stampin' Up unless otherwise stated) :
Cardstock in Hello Honey, Whisper White
Patterned paper - Moonlight DSP stack
Flower patch stamp set
Inks - Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight
Flower Fair dies
Sentiment from Crazy About You stamped in Smoky Slate
A few crystals from my stash
Silver glitter ribbon - I think I picked this up at Tiger Tiger in the UK before we moved over :)
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

I do like it Bev - wonderful flower for a focus point and the pp in the background is a great added touch!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty!
DeleteLovely use of the colors!!
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome, awesome job incorporating the challenge colors into your FABULOUS card! Great 'rule of three' with the grey color - the ribbon (love it!), the flower centre, and the DP panel!
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished....great card as a result!
Thanks for choosing to share your card with us at the Card Concept Challenge. So glad to know that we inspired you to create :)
Thanks Geri. I really enjoyed taking part and will certainly be looking out for the next challenge!
